What headsets does the On Mute adapter work with?

Does the On Mute adapter work with the iPhone 7, 8 and X, and Pixel 2?
The On Mute adapter can work with phones that do not have a 3.5mm headphone jack by using either a lightning to 3.5mm or a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. The On Mute adapter was designed and tested for use with these adapters.
Does the On Mute adapter work with bluetooth headset, or the built in speaker?
No, the adapter only mutes the microphone on the headset connected to it.
The inline volume controls aren’t working on my headset!
While muted, the volume controls may not work on some headsets. The hangup/play/pause button will continue to work. The volume controls will work while not muted. For best performance we recommend plugging the adapter in while in an unmuted state.
Warranty
The On Mute adapter comes with a limited 1 year manufactuer's warranty as specified on the insert card. The warranty is only applicable for adapters bought through authorized resellers.
